Do you wish you could feel more peaceful during your pregnancy by letting go of stress and tension?
Get relief from discomfort with a prenatal massage.
The only thing you can be sure about in any pregnancy, is that your body will experience many physical and emotional changes. Your pregnancy hormones will relax your joints and ligaments. Your center of gravity will change, altering your posture and shifting the pelvis forward, which often results in muscle tension and pain. Common areas that can be affected are the low back, hips, upper back, shoulders, and neck.
For some, it feels like a beautiful time of life, and for others it may feel more stressful. No matter what you’re feeling, you will benefit from practitioners who hold space for whatever you’re going through and meet you where you’re at.
At your initial appointment, you’ll be invited to share your concerns and preferences for your treatment. We also complete a full health history intake so that we can make recommendations for positioning during the massage. We have a bolster that allows you to continue to lie face down on your belly during pregnancy or comfortably on your side during the massage so that you can rest assured knowing you and your baby are safe and cared for.
I saw Lori during a very painful surrogate pregnancy. Not only did she help tremendously with relieving pain and discomfort, but she also utilized her other skills to help, including Reflexology and reiki. Her knowledge about birth, pregnancy and how massage and Reflexology can benefit was a godsend during a very uncomfortable time. She always listened to me vent without batting an eye and went out of her way to provide items of comfort such as bath salts and an EO roller specifically blended to assist with carpal tunnel pain.
She made a huge impact on my journey and I would not have been as comfortable or supported without her help. She truly is an amazing tool for anyone seeking massage therapy, but especially for pregnant persons seeking support.

Wondering what your first postpartum massage may feel like?
Some women prefer to continue lying on their side if they had a c-section or have engorged or sore breasts, and some women can’t wait to be lying on their belly again! After giving birth, you can get a massage as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.
Lori is my to go therapist. She listens to you and makes sure to focus on what you want worked on, as well as addressing areas you may not have known were contributing to your issues. I always feel amazing after being treated by Lori

After seeing Lori my pain is always so much better. I had never had an intra-oral (TMJ) massage before and as painful as it is, I feel quite a bit of relief afterward. I'm able to open my mouth wider, my headaches improve and my jaw isn't tired. For that alone I am grateful! As well as the rest of my body feeling much less painful than any other massage therapist I have seen.

Ready to let go of your pain and tension?
Relaxation or Swedish Massage:
Swedish Massage is the basis for all other massages. It consists of broad, soothing strokes in varying levels of pressure (light to deep) to increase circulation, calm the nervous system and decrease stress.
Stress is often a cause of many health problems, and massage helps to lower the effects of stress on the body by decreasing cortisol levels.
Relaxation massage is great for those with muscle tension caused by stress who just want to relax.
Therapeutic/Deep Tissue Massage:
Do you want the issues worked out of your tissues? This is the massage for you.
Our goals might be to:
- Decrease pain/discomfort
- Relieve tension
- Decrease muscle knots
- Heal chronic injuries or pain
- Decrease muscle spasm
- Decrease scar tissue
- Increase range of motion in specific areas
- Aid recovery from injury.
Deep tissue is similar to Swedish massage but the pressure used by the therapist is generally deeper. Techniques used include: trigger point therapy, myofascial work, hydrotherapy (use of heat and cold), stretching, friction, kneading, etc to relieve tension, knots, and scar tissue.
Add-On Modalities:
- Reflexology
- Cupping
- Craniosacral Therapy
Lori knows her stuff. Compared to other massage therapists I’ve seen, who just gingerly try to relax me, Lori actually sources the issue and gets in there! She truly wants to fix you, and will do everything in her power to do so! She listens to what you ask and uses her own knowledge and variety of healing skills to support her clients. I recommend her over and over again! Once you go to Lori, you’ll never see another RMT.

Myofascial Cupping
All the benefits of a deep tissue massage for chronic pain and tightness with less pain and more long lasting results.
Using plastic cups with valves and a hand pump to create negative pressure, this style of cupping is like a reverse massage. Instead of applying pressure and compressing the tissue, the cups pull the tissue up, increasing blood flow and delivering oxygen to the muscles and fascia.
This treatment helps to stretch, restructure and release fascia, adhesions and scar tissue as well as release trigger points. The cups may be moved along the body in a gliding motion or left in a static position to treat a trigger point or adhesion.
There is no heat or fire used in this style and many people find it relaxing. Typically there is minimal to no marking left on the body with these cups.
Cupping is a great add-on modality to deep tissue or therapeutic massage and is effective at treating long-standing issues. It often produces better results with less pain, that last longer. It can be applied to many areas of the body including the back, neck, shoulders, chest, abdomen, arms, hips, legs and feet.
Cupping is especially effective in treating chronic issues like:
- Back pain
- Headaches
- Knee pain associated with tight IT bands
- Carpal Tunnel, Tennis elbow, and tendonitis
- Plantar fasciitis
- Reducing tightness around surgical scars such as C-sections
And many more!
So what are people saying about myofascial cupping?
“That felt like a much deeper massage.”
“It feels like you are vacuuming all the stress and tension out of my back”
“That’s the best my back has ever felt after a massage!”
“Those cups are like magic!”
If you love deep tissue massage and the relief it brings, but you have chronic pain and tension that just doesn’t seem to be fixed with regular massage, try myofascial cupping.
